Eduardo Vilas-Boas
OPERATING PARTNER, INDUSTRIAL TRANSFORMATION
Eduardo Vilas-Boas is an Operating Partner of Alea Capital Partners. As an Operating Partner, he is leading Alea’s teams dedicated to the transformation of the companies in which the Fund has a stake. Working in collaboration with the participating companies as an active member of the board of directors he is responsible for the consolidation, transformation, and implementation processes. He is also responsible for identifying and developing investment opportunities, mainly in an industrial context.
Eduardo has a strong operations background, focused on transformation, supply chain modelling & optimization and business functional reorganization. His experience, both in national and multinational contexts, is in various industrial sectors and activities – such as packaging, meat, beverages, among others – managing teams on daily operations and transformation processes. Eduardo also participated in M&A operations with the scope of operation due diligence and transformation processes design.
Eduardo graduated from the Biotechnology School of Universidade Católica Portuguesa, completed a post-graduation course in Food Innovation and attended the Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Minho in Braga.
