As Compliance Officer she ensures that the firm operates correctly and ethically, verifying compliance with the legality of its actions, while at the same time meeting its business objectives. Prior to Alea, she pursued her professional career in the areas of Office Management and Human Resources for 15 years in a group of companies operating in various sectors of economic activity in Portugal
Maria João holds a Law degree from the International University in Lisbon.
